The book addresses anthropologists, etnologists and others interested in cultures of Papua New Guinea.Předmětem knihy je kultura etnické skupiny Nungon, která obývá horské oblasti poloostrova Huon na Papui-Nové Guineji. V knize autoři unikátním způsobem zprostředkovali názory žáků místní základní školy na kulturu, přírodu, ochranu biodiverzity a budoucnost jejich vesnice. Žáci školy se k uvedeným tématům vyjádřili prostřednictvím kreseb a komentářů k nim. Kniha obsahuje bohatý obrazový materiál, který autoři získali během terénních výzkumů u Nungonů, jejichž kulturu a názory v knize představují.
